As a writer, one of the most important aspects of creating a compelling story is giving life to the characters. Do they go through a journey of self-discovery, or do they struggle to overcome their flaws? One of the best ways to illustrate a character's journey is through the emotions they experience. The following is an exploration of one such character and the emotions that they go through.
Her name was Sarah, a young woman in her early twenties, who had experienced more than her fair share of heartbreak. From a young age, she had always felt like an outsider- never quite fitting in with her peers. It wasn't until she met Jackson that she felt like she finally belonged. They fell deeply in love, and for a time, everything was perfect.
But as with any perfect love story, the fairy tale didn't last. Jackson was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and Sarah was left to care for him as he slowly slipped away.
